Infloor heat is a great way to heat a new home. During installation, the tubes are first stapled to the subfloor. The appropriate spacing is engineered for maximum heat value. These tubes are nine inches apart.
You can walk on the gypcrete just 2 hours after pouring. It takes 10 days or so to completely dry.

These photos are of a 32x36 shop we are building for Scott & Andria on Fairview Loop. Scott & Andria's trust in our company is evident as this is the third project we have completed for them in the past 3 years! We also remodeled their basement, added an entry/porch, and constructed a 16x40 deck.
Katie is North Country Builders' lead designer. She has worked with us for the past 3 years. Katie goes to school part-time and is seeking a degree in aeronautics. When she's not behind the computer or in the cockpit, you might find her cross-country skiing, playing softball or singing in her church choir. Dennis & Julie invited us to build an addition onto their home. We added a kitchen & two bathrooms. Their home is at the foothills of the Talkeetna Mountains in a beautiful, quaint setting. Appliances will go in this week so they will soon be happily settled into their new home!
The North Country Builders website is sadly outdated so we've been working on fixing that problem. Here are some detail shots I took at a jobsite this week. The guys thought I was crazy, but it was fun. Hopefully, the new site will be up & running in October. Watch for it:)
Remember this photo? Cabin transformed! Mike & Susan's remodel on Big Lake is complete. What a great place this will be for them to retreat to. 
This struck Tom as funny as the tow truck hauled his truck away. It just doesn't seem to go together very well..."Built Better than it has to be", our motto for building, and a tow truck. Well, even good builders have truck problems. It's a good thing he can laugh about this site...:)
Wes & Karen moved into their new home that we built this winter. They were a joy to work with throughout the entire building process. I recently did a photoshoot of their home & it was fun to see the house furnished as a "home."
We started building a detached garage last week.
Our good friends at Valley Block have been providing concrete for our jobs since we started building 11 years ago.
